Please come join us for the Wilder Pioneer Run. The race will take place March 11, 2017 and start at 8:45 A.M. at Hoff Park in Westerville, Ohio. This event will benefit the students of Wilder Elementary School and a portion of the proceeds will go to support The National Alliance of Mental Illness. This organization helps to support families and children that are struggling with mental illness.
Our race is divided into two races; a 100 Meter Dash for the children and a 5K. The 100 Meter Dash will begin at 8:45 A.M. on March 11th and go until 9:00 A.M. The 5K will start at 9:00 A.M. on March 11th and end at around 10:30 A.M. Registration is all online for this race and packet pick up dates will be announced closer to the race date, on our website.
At the end of the race, each person will be awarded a medal for participation in our event. To make our event special this year, we have decided to get a bouncy house, a face painter and a balloon artist for the children. This will ensure that all of our children are having the best time.
Please register for the event no later than March 1, 2016. This will guarantee that you will receive a T-Shirt from our Pioneer race. When the race ends, we will have complimentary snacks and water for all participants and volunteers.
